Its shell and stuffing are made from 100% recycled PET plastic, which means it’s not only got a 31% lower carbon footprint than a similar bag made in new materials, but, thanks to this monomaterial design approach, the core components are also recyclable as part of a closed-loop system. Return it to us when it’s no longer usable and we’ll turn it into a new Coachtopia Loop product — how’s that for Made Circular design?
This product is part of our Coachtopia Loop collection. These pieces are crafted with at least 98% recycled PET plastic (rPET) made from post-consumer waste, and designed with a monomaterial approach—using rPET for shell material, lining, buckles, drawcords and more. This means that it can be recycled multiple times as part of our Coachtopia closed loop system—a process which is far more difficult when rPET is combined with other materials. Return it to us when it’s no longer usable and we’ll turn it into a new product according to our Made Circular design principles (Learn more about Made Circular on our About pages.)
